So it seems like my Prusa i2 will no longer connect to my pc, I'm getting the COM 5 error. I cleared out all serial ports with the registry edit tip suggested on this forum while searching for an answer. That did not work. The only option I have is to use my brother's macbook or a linux dual boot pc done on an old laptop. Im not liking the macbook option because if the screen goes to sleep or your browsing the internet, it throws off error codes and pauses the print in process. I tried the option disconnect printer from pc, kill application, kill power for a few seconds, reconnect power, reconnect to pc, launch application. This does not work. Restarting computer does not work for this type of problem.
