mathematical, fractal, parametric, isosurface STL files online?

There are not very many STL files online for models of the kind shown in the image. there are some fractals on Thingiverse but not many parametric maths and curved architecture type things.

Can someone recommend some websites with similar STL's?

Is it not practical to print such things using a reprap? it looks like it's probably powder bed printing.

Stuff like that would require a lot of support material in an FDM printer, and breaking it off without destroying the model would be very difficult.

FDM can do a lot of things, but not everything.

You could print many of these things with a dual extruder and using HIPS plastic which disolves in a certain chemical.

For the fractals, you should see the Inkscape plugins and then become familiar with blender to model it. The people who are making money at selling objects like that have become experts in using these software, not experts at downloading other people's original works.

Just food for thought.
