Prusa nozzle temperature control
June 18, 2015 02:23AM
Hi

Can someone assist me...I am new to the world of 3D printing, and have purchased a Prusa i3. All testing has passed except that for the nozzle temperature, it does not stop when it reaches the set temperature (250deg for eg). It just keeps rising until the error 'max temp reached' occurs, then it slowly cools down.

The thermistor must be working, as the Cura software shows the temperature reading.

What do i need to do to tell the printer to stop overheating the nozzle?

Thanks...Paul

Hi Paul,
there are three temp-probe connectors on the RAMPS ( I assume, that´s what you have ).
Maybe you´ve put the hotend thermistor to the wrong port?
