strange extrusion problem

pla extrudes throgh the ptfe tub e igf i take off the heatsink as soon as put it all together and try extruding as soon as it reachs the hotend it stops extruding making a knocking noice at top of extruder feed

the nozzle and everthing s clean as can see straight through temp is up as well more than normal

so whys it not extrudeing

Are you sure the nozzle isn't blocked?

You will get better answers if you provide a lot more info, like what printer, what extruder, what hotend, what temperatures....

prusa i3 genuine e3d v6 hotend it gets stuck after a few layers it stops where the threaded piece attaches hotend to heatsink so have to unblock then it all happens again pla at205 celsus

Do you have the fan attached to the heatsink and powered up?

If you didn't, I'd say you're getting heat creep and the filament is expanding too high in the extruder. What temperature setting are you using?

The knocking noise is probably the extruder stalling and restarting. You could check motor current.

I'd say take careful note of the nozzle assembly instructions. It's important that the nozzle tightens against the heatbreak and not the heater block. also the ptfe tube needs to push up tight. Check instructions about a 'chamfer' on the end of it.

solved put new bowden and tube on and was better got further with pla then it got stuck in tube

so now changed to abs had with printer and so far its ok so presube abs filiment is rubish that came with it the trouble is this is what i was supplied when bought

the abs is by rigid.ink so should be ok

now thoughrunning at 265 print the first layer is rubbish but the rest ok any ideas help bed is at 90
