That is the regular price, at least online.
Shipping is $5 + $1 each additional spool...

When I was in the store and bought some it was 14.99 and didn't indicate a sale. I hope they aren't unloading it or something it would be great to be able to keep getting it locally.

The stuff prints better than anything I have ever used. I thought my printer was weak. Once I spooled some inland, fresh out of the bag up I found my printer was great. Try a spool and see if it is the best you have ever squirted out your nozzle.

lawl.... Yes, it is great and having a local source that is not $50/kg is very nice. Microcenter here has them for $15 every day all day, and on Amazon it is $17.99 with free shipping.

Not sure on others experience but I have used same temperatures for all colors of inland filament and never had a problem. Originally it was out of ignorance, but once I realized my mistake it had been working so long I chose not to change. I still run all inland pla at 40 on the bed and 205 on extruder.

Now that I am thinking of it, off to amazon to order more!!!! This time I think I will try their petg as well, hopefully it works out.

The PETG worked good for me. This is a good blog post from someone who tested all the different kinds of inland.

Yep I saw that on the box too but I swear my store didn't say sale on the tag but maybe I just missed it.

The Microcenter in Troy. MI has the 1Kg spools at $19.95 as the regular price too. But it always seems to be on sale for 14.95. The Inland brand has been every bit as good as the stuff I buy from Ultimachine & Makerfarm. I have bought a half dozen of spools and all have performed flawlessly. I'm sold on it. They have a surprisingly good selection of 3d printers also. Not that I would ever buy one.

I buy online, and do in-store pickup. I get the sale price, and the added free benefit of letting someone else scour the shelves looking for the merchandise.....

The $19.95 is printed on the box by Inland, and appears to be MSRP . . . the Microcenter here in the Dallas area has been $14.99 both times I bought it, and other than one spool of black 1.75mm PLA that had bulges over 2mm (and that they happily replaced) it has run great. It's hard to imagine how they sell any of the Makerbot 1kg stuff at $45/spool with this sitting next to it . . .

Today I got a roll of the inland glow in the dark pla and purple pla. The glow in the dark stuff seems to have a rough texture on the filament. I am printing something with it now and it's working so far.

My friend's been using Inland PLA for some time now on his Prusa i3 and is impressed by the quality. It does seem to have a bit of an ABS smell to it when printing, but at $15 for a kg, it's hard to beat.
