pla vs as problem

decided to try pla again today but a weird thing is i printed the same object abs and pla the pla is the purple in pic whys it prints lines apart where as abs was all together

abs was 237
pla 200 all other settings same

Maybe your bed warps at print temperature. Did you try rezeroing?

Possible that you are under extruding with the PLA? What slicer are you using? There could be some settings that are different between ABS and PLA if you use different profiles.

i did think the pla was extruding slower was using cura and sd card

will try with slicer on pla see what happens

right tryed abs again but same

put new e3d v6 nozzle and heat block on too
all extrudes fine when i go on lcd and prepae extruder all comes out ok
but when i click a print off lcd it takes ages for it even to start brim which is set to 6 rounds i n slicer and when the print itself starts from centre the layers are all messy not alighned and together

the bed and z axis have been checked numerous times and leveled

what do i change to set if under or over extruding

Sounds like your LCD is picking up some interference or possibly the cable is to long introducing data errors, just a thought.

yes will try computer next as reset configs diferent temps u blocked etc

finally a little success swapped to usb and cura had to print a t 230 for pla to come through better but not perfect
but better than sd print

anywat tryed pronterface as what used before cura and lcd just could not get to extrude or print

so thought would give repetier a try as could not work when first had

had to print a small object after i had reet some settings and so far still printing looking good

thanks for suggesting to go back to usb sounds like the lcd playing up

can i save config files of settings from repetier will post pic tommorow

why does the 45 layer go funny when the rest ok
