Calibration Issues

Hi All

Building my first 3D printer, just finished building mendel i2 and am trying to calibrate the stepper motors. Using Marlin and using the default settings my printer moves roughly 14 times what it should in the x and y direction, z direction is pretty perfect. When i alter the values in Marlin as required, the value gets so small that the printer wont move any values less than 1mm, what am i doing wrong?

I am using the usual belt and aluminium pulleys and these motors: [e3d-online.com]

Fast replies much appreciated as i really wanted my first print today!

Which electronics are you using?

If you are on RAMPS it sounds like you forgot to install the small jumpers underneath the drivers or possibly installed them the wrong way.
Those jumpers activate different modes of microstepping, if not installed the motors will only do full steps.
