Extruder not heating up in ramps 1.4

I am using ramps 1.4 to control my printer, everything works fine but the extruder wont heat up. I checked the extruder terminals while clicking the heat extruder icon and it shows no current is passing through the terminal with my multimeter. Is it possible that it could be something in the configuration.h in marlin instead of the actual board?

It is the voltage you have to check on the terminals not the current.

While your at it check the voltage on the gate of the Mosfet that drives the heater

Ahh, I figured it out. I selected the wrong board in marlin, I chose 34 instead of 33.
