Save Pronterface custom buttons
April 02, 2016 05:25PM
Hello all,

I am getting a new laptop for my 3D printing and I was wondering if there was a way to transfer the custom buttons in Pronterface. I made quite a few of them and some even have macros assigned to them. I was hoping there was some custom file somewhere on my PC that i could just use and it would be the same as I had it.

I have tried copying the whole pronterface folder (the one with the custom buttons) and open it on another computer and everything was default, so it must be somewhere bound to the computer.

Any suggestions or ideas?

Thanks,

Zac

Yup,

Copy the printrunconf.ini file from your old computer C:\Users\"Your name"

This file contains all your settings.
