Well, I see the benefits for some of us, but why would they need 40k$ to re-develop an already available technology ?

Good question. My guess is they were either hoping for the money to pay for a CNC lathe and materials, or they were trying to upfront the entire cost of outsourcing the manufacturing run. Tungsten is painfully expensive to buy, otherwise I'd be tempted to have a go myself smiling smiley

Maybe just trying to make sure there's enough demand for the nozzles to justify the materials outlay and the wear on the cutting tools which apparently is pretty bad with tungsten.
