I have a few samples of PLA and Natural/Black ABS, fancy testing it?

I would like to test 1.7mm

I have already picked up colored and natural ABS, natural PLA, and HPDE filament for my own testing in glass nozzles once I get my McWire going. It is 3/4 constructed, but I still have to add the extruder, bed (probably heated bed) and make and connect the Gen2onaBoard electronics, so not quite yet ready to test. I will post my results here and in the glass nozzle thread.

I'm interested in 1.7mm filament as well. Can you tell us the specific ABS resin being used? I'm looking to compare other formulations against the Chi Mei Polylac PA-747 that New Image uses.

This is 3mm filament, sorry I'm not aware of the actual compound used.

How many samples went out?
How will we coordinate who prints what so that we end up with a full set of parts Mendel parts?
Should we print a Prusa mendel instead of an Ed mendel?
