SC Card RepRapDiscount Full Graphic Smart Controller

Hi peeps,

I'm nearly finished installing my ramps 1.4 mega with a RepRapDiscount Full Graphic Smart Controller. Last problem is I can't get the SD Card to work..

What I've done so far is enabled it in the firmware (-1) and when I insert a card I get the message SD Card inserted and SD Card removed.. on Repiter Host I get a Start list / end list with no errors. I've tried formatting 2 SD cards to Fat and just putting a folder in there and a .gco file but nothing is showing in the SDCard menu other than <- Back option.

Any ideas? I would really like to get this working.

Try different SD cards, my panel was quite fussy with which card it would accept. Luckily I ended up with a working match, a Samsung 8gb microsd in a converter. Also try inserting the card with the machine off completely, and then turn on. I'm not too happy with the SD function on mine... This may be a due to it being a Chinese knock off, or the SD card being a bit old. Make sure you format the card too
