I think my arduino passed away

I think my arduino passed away

After changing the drivers to DRV8825 on RAMPS1.4, I tried to flash Marlin again with the new configurations.
Since then, nothing seems to work. The screen becomes blue and that's it, nothing written on it.

Tried to to upload a brand new Marlin and same results. Not working.
Tried to upload Arduino's Blink example and it works.

Any ideas what's wrong?

Maybe you put the drv8825's in backwards?

vs

Ie if your orientation is based on the position of the pot, it should be turned 180 degrees around.

eg here is an example with mixed drivers

I know about the orientation.
I also tried to get everything of the RAMPS excluding the screen and it still didn't work

please define "nothing seems to work"

can you connect to it?
can you read any temperature readings?
can you test endstops with m119?
Does the hot end heatup?
Do the stepper motors move?

or is it just a dead screen?

did you use the old working configuration.h or de default one?

If the Blink example works, the Arduino works. Beyond that we need more information what "doesn't work" means. Does it compile? Does it upload? What are the error messages?

tried both configuration.h

nothing seems to work means the screen don't work.

how can I check anything?

with screen you mean LCD? Did you set the correct LCD in your configuration.h?

wow this is so stupid...

I used the wrong Marlin folder which was not configured at all - which means the LCD was not configured at all which means...stupid mistake

anyway I used the correct files now at the world is right again
thanks all for the help. thank Fran@France
