Aworldnet/Borlee H600 - Files needed from SD card

Hi, hope this is the correct section, as I didn't see my brand in the software section.

I just finished building the H600, but all the files from the SD card are corrupted.

Seems the company I bought it from is no longer selling these, does any have the files from the SD card they can share? thanks

Do you know what controller card it uses - is it a custom board, or a generic one? If you don't know, then I suggest you post a photo of the controller board.

I'll post a picture of the board in the morning, thank you for your reply.

Says it's a Reprap Melzi Board.

I bought this a year ago, and I'm just now working on it... should I buy a different board with an LCD controller?

AFAIK the SD card on the Melzi is used only to hold gcode files for printing, and the SD card doesn't need to be present to control the printer via the USB port. As 8-bit boards go, the Melzi isn't a bad board as long as you only want to drive one extruder, so I suggest you stick with it for now at least. It's possible to add an LCD to it. See [reprap.org] for documentation.

Thank you! That's was I was concerned about.

I've been doing some reading this morning... seems the board is a hybrid v1 with and atmega1284p controller. Would your PanelDue work with my ebay board?

To drive a PanelDue, you would need to run Repetier firmware on the board, because Marlin doesn't yet support PanelDue. So I suggest you visit the Repetier configurator website, and see if you can configure Repetier for a Melzi board, with JSON response support but no explicit LCD support, and see if the resulting firmware fits in the memory constraints of that processor.

PS - I am assuming that the Melzi supports a serial.port to connect the PanelDue to - I haven't checked that.

Thank you again for your time and reply!

OK, Let me get this thing up and running first, and then I'll check out the Repetier firmware. I used to configure Cruis AIO and APM2.6 flight controller boards with Arduino, so hopefully this will be just as easy. Thanks again.

Here's my first print with the stock settings.

Nothing is sticking together... the sections that should be solid, are not. It's stringy all over.
