Help Finding Part - Z-axis
July 02, 2016 09:33AM
Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and have scouted about for a while looking for an answer but to no avail. Apologies if this is an obvious question but its the last part i need.

For my Z-axis i will have a 10mm rail on each side and a lead screw on each side. On the 10mm rail there will be 2 SC10UU (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121830930556?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&var=420823887402&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT) each side.

The lead screws currently are these - (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322139119923?var=511054006705).

I'm looking for a bracket to go on the lead nut. It's something like this - (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322123855427). This one is obviously not suitable.

Can anyone throw some help my way?

Thanks in advance guys.

Get an appropriately sized and thick enough aluminum angle. Mount the lead screw nut on one side and mount the other side to what you're moving.

If you have a friend with a 3D printer, it is possible to make a bracket for this lead screw.
