how do i raise my z offset its currently set at -3.51 do i have to make the number bigger or smaller ?

Smaller if your nozzle is crashing against the bed, bigger if is hanging on the air.

What system are you using? Servo or sensor?

Thanks am using a sensor. Ive now got it perfect . It makes sense to me now that the smaller the number the less it will travel and vice versa.
