Temperature not stable......

i have not changed anything for my deltabot, however the printing temperature recently become unstable, the extruder temperature is always jumping higher or lower than the targeted temp at a big range(around 20-30 degrees higher or 10-15 degrees lower), sometimes it triggered the max temp error.

i have checked the hardware and ensure that everything is in the right place, and i have runned the PID tuning and input the value accordingly, unfortunately the problem still exists.

anyone knows what's the cause?

thank you

Check the wires to the thermistor. Connect a meter to the controller end of the cable and move the extruder carriage around while you watch the resistance reading on the meter. If you see any variation at all, you have found the problem. You might also check the resistance between the heater and the thermistor. It should be infinite. Anything less is a problem.

Once you find and fix the problem you'll need to run the PID tuning again and save the returned values in the config file.
