3D printer controller board available on Europe market

Hello, I would like to ask you about your experiences and advices on 3D printers controller boards which would be available in Europe market. Currently I have only experiences with Arduino Mega + Ramps 1.4 sold on Ebay from China. Any advice and your experiences will be appreciated. I would prefere a single board but can be also shields connected to Arduino board. Definitely should be compatible with Repetier firmware. I also use Raspberry Pi as Repetier server connected to Arduino board.

Neither Repetier nor Marlin supports most of the 32-bit boards on the market, so I suggest you drop the requirement to use Repetier. The firmwares that have been specifically written for 32-bit processors (RepRapFirmware and Smoothieware) provide improvements over the older firmwares, such as accurate step pulse timing, reconfiguration of the firmware without having to recompile it, and Web interfaces.

The Duet WiFi and Duet 0.8.5 controller boards are designed and manufactured in the UK.

When you're familiar with repetier fw and be shy of learning to use another fw, it is best to use a RepRapFirmware compatible controller like above mentioned Duet or RADDS from Germany.
It was never easier to adapt a fw to your printer...

... I'm using ArduinoDue with RADDS and RAPS128 drivers for different 3D-printers and other devices (pastedispensing, laserengraving).

For my day-job we've developed an ArduinoDue-shield with 24 Volts support and 5 Volts I/O voltage levels, and a driver board for this shield with 48 Volts support and interfacing the I/O's to more industry-friendly 24 Volts ... but this is not meant primary for DIY ...

I'm waiting on a re-arm board to provide a 32 bit processor that can interface with ramps, this runs smoothieware.

I also use a duetwifi/reprap firmware and am very pleased with it.

Before that I only used marlin on ramps/mega.

I was quite apprehensive switching to newer boards and firmwares but found it both interesting and fairly straightforward. As such I'm looking to try out smoothie on my re-arm so that I can add another firmware to my repertoire.

Thanks for all your tips. All boards advised by you looks perfect. For now I will be probably more interested in the re-arm board mentioned by DjDemonD mostly because of the price. But the Duet Wifi also looks perfect but also more expensive.
It is pity that the re-ARM board is currently out of stock and no more possible to order via kickstarter. Also not sure if they ship worldwide.

Re-arms are shipping over the next few months to kickstarter backers so you can probably pick one up off eBay from someone.

Will re-arm be cheaper? I think it's important to consider the cost of quality parts. A quality ramps 1.4 board is not cheap, as are decent stepper drivers. Once you factor this cost in (also cost of replacing badly designed steppers), you may want to consider other options.

I think re-arm for me is basically a case of swapping out an arduino for the re-arm on an existing machine with known working stepper drivers etc...As such its cheaper and easier than a new 32 bit controller. If it doesn't offer me much of an improvement boylucky you can have first refusal, if you still need one.

If I was building a completely new machine and the design aim was quality over price, I'd buy the Duetwifi - I did and am very pleased with it.

Actually the price is one of the key factor for the 3D printer I currently build up. Later on I can more focus on the higher quality of the electronics parts and get the Duet wifi board. I think it can be really great solution for 3D printers from what I red.
