Linux Repetier-Host Debug Controls Missing?

Hi. I'm running Repetier-Host 1.6.2 under Linux -- supposedly the most recent version. No matter what I do, I cannot see the debug controls that are supposed to be under the manual controls (please see attached photo). I want to use "Dry Run" mode -- but need those controls to do it, or alternately need to know the script/codes to send to manually trigger this mode. Odd though that the buttons are missing. Any ideas? Thanks.

I found it. The controls only appear when Repetier-Host is in direct connection (e.g. serial) mode. They are not present when connected to Repetier-Server.
