RepRap Host issues
February 13, 2011 10:16PM
Hi all,

I just recently switched my printing computer over to a Windows PC (running XP SP3) and have not been able to get RepRap host software to work. I go to open the program and it starts things in the cmd as it shoild, but then it hangs there after posting up "Native lib Version.....Java lib version ...." I am running a RAMPS board, if I disconnect it or change to a different COM port inside the preferences option the software loads up without any issues, but when I switch it back to the proper COM port, it goes back to hanging in the cmd.

Any ideas? Proper drivers installed, proper COM port selected, software opens when not plugged in or assigned different COM port. What else can I do?

Rhys,

Yeah, should've reposted after i figured that out. It was indeed the baud rate, changed to 19200 and all was well.

Yes I am, changing the baud rate in the host software fixed it for me.
