Hello everyone,
today i tryed to print PLA with my Bowden Extruder but it get stucken between the Teeth after Seconds...
I already changed from the normal Gear like This:
[e3d-online.com]
[e3d-online.com]

now i got this:

and it works for PETG realy well but not for PLA... same issue.
Got someone a Idea how to fix that?

So the teeth of the gear are getting clogged up with PLA?

PLA easily jams bowden extruder due to retraction. Use 0 mm to try and then find a better one.

Increase your spring tension.

PLA needs a lot of tension, PETG is a lot softer so doesn't need as much force pushing on the gear.

I have been using a gear similar to the one in your last link for a year and a half, it works really well for me in PLA, ABS, PETG, TPE, and HIPS. I haven't found a filament that wasn't suited to it.

Yeah there was a good bit of "research" done which showed those flat mk8 style gears to have the highest traction of any of the tested drive gears.

PLA is not so 'slippy' as say ABS, in the bowden tube.

A little film of vegetable oil in the tube may help
