Hi
I built a Wilson variant reprap machine a couple of years back which has served me well although I havent been able to master ABS on it as yet.
Im looking at upgrading to something requiring a bit less tinkering. Not fussed if I have to go down the source/build path again although I'd probably prefer a kit this time around as I dont want to dedicate the next few months sourcing etc.
Ive been out of the scene now for a while so Im not up with all the latest and greatest, heres where I need your advice
Budget: < $1200 AUD
not after a delta
has Auto leveling,
Able to print ABS (should it be Enclosed?) is there a better alternative now?
1.75mm filament as I have heaps on hand of both PLA and ABS
Dual Head: for printing soluble supports or just to have PLA/ABS ready
my current build volume is 180 x 180 x 140h so not sure I'd need or want bigger.
Even if theres an off the shelf avail that people recommend I'm open for that too. Ive been told by a few that the Creator Pro and dreamer are good machines off the shelf, also the Da Vinci?
Any advice appreciated
Cheers
Rod
