Hi I am a newbie to 3d printing and I wanted to learn the basics of 3d printers by building a kit build, so I selected a sintron printer... I am having a few issues with the build, has anyone on this site built one? Also what is a good material of filament to start with and who would be a good supplier?

Hi Thank you for the info I think I will make myself a cup of tea before I start that one....Any ideas on the filament, which one to start with and maybe a good supplier?

@Filament: Depends on where in the world you are.

personally I like PLA because ABS tends to warp much more.
Good & cheap supplier for PLA in Europe is http://www.dasfilament.de

I search E-Bay as I have had good luck, and getting a refund is guaranteed though it does take time.
