Need a little help. I have built an 3D printer from scratch and I need a little help with the firmware etc. I have the MKS Gen 1.4 board with the MKS tft32 LCD and the 12864 LCD(Not sure which one to go with) also I have the Bowden dual/quad extrusion extruder (single-nozzle single-drive). I need help with getting the servo to work for the Bowden dual/quad extrusion extruder (single-nozzle single-drive) and the auto bed leveling and Homing I am using the firmware from [osoyoo.com]…/mks-1-4-3d-printer-board-marlin-firmwa…/. I have no experience when it come to adding it to the configuration.h and adv.h etc. Anyone have firmware I can use or where I can get it? Even hints on how to add it? Last but not least know where I can get new firmware for the 12864 LCD? Thank you

The primary thing you need in order to get the LCD working is the pinout. If you are lucky there is a pinout in the firmware already set up and you just need to find the right one and enable it. If not you will need to dig into whatever documentation you can find and get the pins that are being used for the LCD connection. Then see if you can find an LCD definition in marlin that matches. You will also need to un-comment the lines that enable the features your LCD has. You don't need to be an expert to get it running. Just read the configuration.h carefully and it should start to make sense.

If this is your first printer you might want to leave the LCD and Dual Extrusion and Auto-leveling alone for a bit and just see if you can get axes homing and moving correctly, maybe run a few prints using a laptop connected directly. Then work your way through the more advanced features one at a time.

A 128x64 lcd will just be a clone reprapdiscount graphic smart controller, which just needs the corresponding line in marlins configuration.h uncommenting.

The tft32 is a touch screen with an integrated 32 bit processor as far as I'm aware. It's made to sort of replace a raspi pi with octoprint or provide a better interface without straining the 8 bit electronics. Not the same as the encoder driven LCD screens.
