Hello All

I wonder if anyone can point me towards a source where I can get the Mendel X-Carriage (upper part) dimensions?

I wish to modify Erik's push fit bowden coupling to fit on my Mendel with some minor modifications.

Unfortunately one cannot modify an STL using HeeksCAD which is currently my tool of choice.

You can use FreeCAD to convert an .stl to a STEP file, which I believe HeeksCAD can manipulate. The procedure is part of my post here.

btw - I do remember you mentioning this in a previous post, but was lazy. Turned out to not be much effort at all and certainly worth it as I now can edit what was previously an STL.

FreeCAD seems to be a rather powerful application at first glance.
