The 3D printer works correctly as per the given command. Now checking the slicing software.

Now I used Cura to convert .stl to .gcode. Now it is running.

Initially it sets Homeing and then starts printing.

But the problem is, it starts printing after Z axis moves approx.120mm(measured manually) and then starts printing. How to configure so that printing is done in bed level.

I have attached the video link.

my guess is very wrong steps/mm on your Z axis

If you home Z then through your control panel tell it to move up 10mm how far up does it actually move ?

If its not 10mm you have to work out why

It might help too to see your GCode file, or at least the first bit of it.

Alternate guess (though the above is also a good thing to check) :
Cura is explicitly adding the Gcode for a 120mm Z move, check the 'start Gcode' setting under (I think) printer properties.

Cheers,
Robin.

I changed the step revolution and now it runs perfectly.

Thank you all.

I fixed the extruder. And now after connection with ramps when I used Pronterface to run the extruder it shows 'cold extrusion prevented' and at the same time the hotend is not heated up(The Hotend LED is glowing).
But when M302 command is passed the status is 'cold extrusion is disabled'.
I checked the voltage across hotend connection, it shows 11.71V in each wire.
Both were working properly when in separate connection.

sounds like your hot end heater is broken

what is the resistance of the hotend heater and wires when disconnected from the ramps?

If the hot end isn't hot, then it's the heater that's broken.

If the hot end is hot, and the firmware thinks that it's cold, then there's a problem with the thermistor. It's probably not disconnected, or I think the firmware woiuld prevent you from turning on the heater. It may have come away from the heat block, however, and be reporting the temperature much lower than what it actually is.

THIS IS DANGEROUS.

If the hot end is actually heating, then you must determine why the firmware thinks that it has not. This is a safety issue, and you must address it before you try to use the printer. If the hot end is in fact not heating up, then it's a heater issue, which will prevent you from printing, but is at least not dangerous.

My extruder isn't extruding the filament to hotend.
It is running normally but it can't able to push the filament outside. It just vibrates.
What will be extruders steps per rev?

Thanks and regards

steps//mm Is different for every extruder type

you need to calibrate it see [www.youtube.com]
