No Z moves in Prusa Edition of Slic3r ( Classic Slic3r works fine)

PROBLEM
z axis wont move with Slic3r Prusa edition. Works fine with standard Slic3r and manual moves

KEY POINTS
- manual moves work reliably
- Slic3r files print reliably
-Slicer Prusa edition, Z axis dose NOT move, only makes noise.
-Slic3r Prusa edition machine limits settings make no difference
- All other Axes work fine, including with Silent Mode

QUESTION.
what needs to be changed to get the Z axis to work the same way in the Prusa Edition of Slic3r, as it works in the standard edition of Slic3r??

EXPLANATION
i have been using the regular version of Slic3r for a while with minimal problems. I decided to use the Slic3r Prusa edition to get more features for my double extruder set up, but anything sliced in the PE Slic3r, causes the Z axis to buzz and not move..The same objects slice just fine in classic Slic3r, and the X,Y,E1,E2, axis all work fine with the PE Slic3r... just not the Z axis. I have tried changing the Machine limits settings in Slic3r PE, down to minimal, and they do not make a difference..... the silent mode even works fine on the working axes, but still, no z movement. just noise.

e3d V6 (x2)
Marlin Firmware ( maybe 2 moths old)
Slic3r Prusa Edition 1.41.1

check you max feed rate settings in firmware

If the slicer tells the axis to move to fast it will buzz and not move. This is normally limited by setting the max feed rate so slicer cant exceed machine limits

thanks, i tried some changes any way, but its cant be the firmware as the problem only shows up with the Prusa edition of slic3r, not other slicers.

.. ,... this is what it was at before i made changes.

reduced Z feed rate from 3, to 2, to 1, no change
reduced Z aceleration down to 10, no change

Z Axis still wont move when using prusa edition of slicer,....the problem has to be with the slicer itself.

I just took a look at some gcode from Slic3rPE and it over rides the max feed rates (this is new from last I looked)

open up Slic3rPE, go to Printer Settings| Machine limits and adjust your Maximum feedrate Z: to something your machine can do

hmmm, before i made my post i already tried it and it didnt help
BUT, after your recommendation i tried it again, but this time i matched the settings to what was in my firmware
z feed rate is currently set at 3 ( was at 12), and it is now working!!!!
thanks for the help, i guess my original changes just were not big enough to make the difference.
