Which is better-Nano Smart Stepper or MKS Servo42?

I am curious about the two, not so latest, items ( on closed loop steppers) that I have come across recently and would like to know, in order to use them, if
a) Both of them are good; where the difference boils down to price, skill etc.
b) One is better than other; say based on ease of use, accuracy etc.
c) Both of them are useless; say with respect to the return of investment etc.

Here are the links for both of them.

I have the NSS's. I believe the MKS is a copy of his board. There is a Google support group for NSS and the developer is active.Go have a look

I think the Nano Smart stepper you are looking at on Aliexpress is a clone too.

Bill,

I just received 3 of the Smart Steppers from MIsfit Tech. How do you like them? are the stepper motors fairly quiet when printing?

I really like them so far, except I have to run extra wiring. I believe I will have to wire the enable pin to the unit from the ramps board, otherwise the steppers will not shut off when the print job completes, correct??

Tired of loosing steps on long print jobs that create waste!!!

I am going to use them on the X and Y, the Extruder is a Bondtech that I don't have issues loosing steps.

If these work as well as I think they are going to work then I will use them on my next self designed core XY project.

Thanks,
