new life to printer
December 23, 2019 10:16PM
Hi I have inherited a small printer ( a clone to all the low end units out there), the previous owner crossed the - + terminals on the board killing the board.
I have located a new board for it, ( same as original ) I have limited knowledge of how to use Arduino and Marlin, if I flash the new board with the Arduino h file for this unit, then the makers file which I have, will this work?
Thanks for any help you can offer.
Terry

If you have the same board (assuming arduino + ramps?) And the same Marlin file package, then you can just flash the new board with the files and have it run the same. Unless they made changes in the EEPROM that were not copied back into the firmware. Google what an eeprom is smiling smiley

Also make.sure you have the jumpers for the stepper motors set exactly the same and don't misplace any cables or turn cables around.
