Greetings all.

For years I've seen people in this community build off-printer power & control boxes. I've always liked that idea, assuming that the power box (or controller box) could practically pop off the associated power and I/O cables. However, I'm yet to see the community rally behind panel connectors like we have around various other electronics.

Various amp and CPC connectors are available. In our case, wouldn't it be great if there were a single connector that had high power pins for beds/hotends, and various low power pins for the rest of the system so one could simply remove one plug and pack their printer & print box away?

Surely some folks already have a solve for this. What combinations have people tried? What did you like about it, not like about it? I was eyeballing some 37 position CPC plugs, but they max @ 7A/pin, which isn't suitable for our higher current outputs. I've seen high-power dsubs mix power & signal well--maybe something _like that_ would be cool?

Thx!

fwiw, here's the printbox i'm designing. side and back panels are on hinges for max serviceability, but not shown in CAD:
