After another travel with my mendel (walk+train+bus... argh)
I thought about this thread to share all the good advices, and a page Transportation, to organized them.

So, how do you carry/ship/pack your reprap ? smiling smiley

A good trick is to short out the X & Y stepper motors to stop the axes moving.
