PT100 connection help
May 29, 2020 02:58PM
I'm trying to set up a higher temp hot end on my TAZ Pro. I have a PT100 + amplifier board from E3D but I can't find any analog pins on the Archim2 board to connect the signal line to. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Take a look at [github.com]

The analog pin are all labeled AD {number}, all you need to do is find out where they go.

Such as the Thermistors AN1-AN4

Also note that if you power the PT100 Amplifier with 5v you will destroy the Archim2 IO pin which can only take 3.3v

Thank you for the reply. I have taken a look at the schematic and it looks like AD0 is unused but I'm not sure how to hook up to it. I'm starting to think that a better option will be to use a different high temperature thermistor (high temperature thermistor from Slice Engineering) that is able to connect directly to the thermistor inputs. Any thoughts or suggestions?

AD0 is free because its not connected to anything. to use that you would have to wire to the mpu pins!
