Has anybody any experience with this 3 colour hotend?

No but I like the look of the dual extruder...very tempted to get the dual just for the design but only want a single extruder most of the time.

Looks well made, cant really moan about people impersonating BTT I thought Biqu seller was legit?

now I just spotted one in black, I wonder if I can use it with just one filament loaded?

The hotend in that Ebay link looks significantly different from the picture that was posted earlier. I wouldn't trust it. Also, as far as I'm aware, Bigtreetech only sells through their official shop on AliExpress. I would wait for reviews and some official documents on it.

That listing says upgraded and the price is more than the other, I was hoping it was perfect for 40mm fan & bolt direct to rail cart...but nope it's got 24mm hole spacing.
