Cyclops hotend leaking through thermistor hole

Hello.
I just bought a cyclops hotend knockoff from aliexpress.
Been printing for around a week and now I noticed that it started leaking filament from the thermistor hole.
Is that just a "cheap chinese shit" problem or is that normal and how can I fix it?
Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you for all replies in advance.

The filament path should only connect to the nozzle area, not the thermistor hole.

I've heard of filament leaking from around the nozzle before. These sorts of problems come from not making to specifications properly.

A little off topic: Can I use teflon tape to seal the throats to the heatblock?

No, unless your pressure seal exceeds the pressure exerted by the extruder to squeeze the plastic through the nozzle.

Impossible with tape.

Just replace the heatblock. It's toast. Probably cast rather machined from solid, it's got voids inside.

Maybe the hole you have the thermistor in is the wrong hole?
