Uyghur Glue

Wondering if it's possible we might see some printers with exotic materials perhaps a mix of this special glue & some crushed bones? Hotend tips made from teeth? it was some recent posts got me worried about this becoming a realty in the not to distant future.

If you are so lucky to live in a post-holocaust state like America, there are plenty of bones under your feet smiling smiley

... if you read through the links in my signature -- one of my "building materials concept" is based around carbonized plastic (transformed to coal), lignin as binder, some sort of sand/pebbles and fibers ... if granularity fine enough (or big enough nozzles), then this could be 3D-extruded too ... but more meant for really huge parts as buildings or landscape structures, than desktop-scaling smoking smiley

@ golfwolf Not sure if old bones are as good as new ones for making glue maybe still good as a filler, perhaps strong & light cross members could be carved, but after people have had allotted time in the ground they get "moved" dumped at sea? I suppose one could argue they become the property of the collective, for the benefit of the group.

@VDX I'm not sure how deep you've looked into material science(one guesses it's deep enough) I think bone ash might be as good as plastic ash, if not better as burning plastic can't be a good thing. We know concrete production isnt exactly environmentally friendly, I wonder if bone-crete maybe better? I personally wouldnt mind my ashes being used in some immortal structure if it helped save the planet, though a diamond is prettier(shot into space for the aliens to reverse engineer), though some religious people might not agree especially if it's before their time or beyond their control. I take it you werent educated in the Frankfurt School?

... hehe ... I've studied at the Frankfurt University, so pretty near miss! smoking smiley

I've startetd with "carbonized plastic" to remove the gigantic amounts of plastic rubbish out from the environment (actually many million tons are drifting in the oceans, circulating in the "garbage-patches" or already sunken to the ground or redumped to the shores) ... there is much more plastic araound, than available bones ... and, too, much more damage to the environment, than bones!

This "carbonizing" won't be simple burning, but more "thermal carbonizing" in gas-filled autoclavs, so it would crack and recombine to "coal", while the emitted toxic gases should be gathered and "refused" to non-toxic molecules and used for synthetizing "glass" like particles or chemicals, maybe usefull in other ways.

But there's no problem to use pulverized bones or -ashes as filling/binding materials too winking smiley

No worries, They sure make a lot of concrete in china & a human produces 5ton of co2 in a normal lifetime...maybe someday soon our allotted time on the planet in human form will be cut in half, sure will help with global warming, I hear there is already some new method of killing off the old & fat & ill people reported to have started in China, it may not be the final solution but it's a good start.

Why does any of this have anything to do with 3D printing?

Is this just a test to see how close to racist rhetoric you can get without getting banned? Grow up. The world has enough of this garbage already. There's no need to pollute this space with it, too.

Exactly DD, I've had enough of it too that's why i'm raising my voice against it, so I dont think it's me doing the polluting, but the thread that started it was supposed to be about using waste materials, but I suspected ayozek as a spam bot at first with his wordy thesis type post, telling the community how to suck eggs, with an amazing grasp of english, I also thought not Asian, especially with the later posts, trying to deplatform respected members??? was the intention all along.

Do you seriously think I'm the Racist here, I couldnt give a toss where anyone comes from, except when the place they are coming from(mentally) starts to effect me, I like a joke & a banter but that is frowned upon by people like ayozek, and I was surprised to learn this PC malarkey has roots in communism....though I would previously have classed myself a socialist or on the left, I dont like to be dictated to by anyone, that includes you(we have had small private discussions and dont think I hadnt noticed your disdain for my opinion), so sad when people dont get sarcasm or sardonic wit.

Would recycled concrete work? By strange coincidence, humanity's largest prison, torture, and slave-labor system happens to sit on the same holocaust land. What are the odds! Perhaps some fellow whites could be convinced to up-cycle that. Good luck though, these living tombs are very popular with them!

If it's new bones you want, the white nation didn't stop making them when it reached the Pacific. All over the world you'll find fresh human bones, courtesy of this people who kept their holocaust government in power. Or you could try a slaughterhouse. White people eat flesh at rates like no other. It's strange how death seems to follow them, but hasn't yet caught up with them. Perhaps the many billions will someday soon grow disgusted with this nation's behavior, and put one last layer down. Good luck in your search!

Well we are told we need a concrete alternative(glass too), I'm a fan of many of the old Béton Brut buildings communist ones included, though not a fan of the building sickness. The dream of pouring my own concrete bunker/tomb is rapidly running out of road...though it would be nice to see a new sustainable alternative...it seems everything new has a price to the environment, but surely if material scientists(or Alchemists) are worth their salt they'll figure out a way to do no harm, figure out ways to knock out electrons & protons from bad materials & turn them into something more useful & less harmful.....but many things are harmful in the wrong amounts, so is it all to late, the damage is done.

"is it safe"
