12864KBA V1.2 Display

I have never posted on this site, I have always read and found most of my answers. Problem is now I cannot find the answer. I have a Arduino mega 2560 with the ramps 1.4 installed. Using Marlin 2.1 and changing the line in the code to read "#define REPRAP_DISCOUNT_FULL_GRAPHIC_SMART_CONTROLLER" along with my other changes BL Touch,Bilinear leveling, etc. Problem is firmware compiles fine and uploads to the board just fine, But I have no screen with all the selections I have set.
Can someone please help me to understand where I have messed up?

You need to attach your config files, so we can see what you have done, or try them on identical hardware to check its not a hardware issue.

You say "I have a Arduino mega 2560 with the ramps 1.4"

But the file you have provided says you have a BOARD_RAMPS_SMART_EFB whish is for a DUE not a mega2560

If you really have a ramps 1.4 on a mega2560 change this back to #define MOTHERBOARD BOARD_RAMPS_14_EFB

You kind Sir are a Gentleman and a Scholar until you are better paid. i thank you so much. I had read that is where it had to be and so I continued with it. Had the RepRapD1scount Smart Controller display onit and I didn't like it so I bought the 12864 and reconfigured the hole for the mounting of it. I was very frustrated when I couldn't make it work. Not that much of a 3D printer but it will work for me. I am sure I will be back for more help later on. I still can't remember where I read that info, but where ever I did I am glad you found it for me.
Once again I thank You
