reprap hotend

ok so it looks like my mendel-parts v4 has died (again) and since i have been out the loop as far as deveopments and new products go for a while. i was woundering what hotends are the best out there?

my only requirements are it has to be around or under £60 and in stock now (i need to get it running quick)

There are many hot-ends available. Since you are asking for it in Pounds, how about [www.thingfarm.org] They have the "Geared Extruder Nozzle" and the J-Head Nozzle in stock.

eMakershop.com has some for sell.
You will need to supply your own RP parts.

Hi Matt,

My v4 died a few weeks back also, after about 4 mths of loyal service. I ordered a superpack from makergear which shipped the same day. Cost me around 115$ to get it to Ireland - not sure what that is in sterling. I've not pushed it hard yet but I can get 60 mm/s where I couldn't get decent quality beyond 30 mm/s with the v4. Anyway theres quite a few other hotends out there (mendel-parts have a v6 now) but thats my experience fwiw.
