I'm wondering if I buy from the US ( for example, ultimachine or makerbot), do I have to pay custom fees on top of shipping?
I bought from ultimachine. Shipped to Ottawa, I did have to pay GST and PST on it. (e.g. customs.) I avoided UPS ground, which charges a secondary 'processing' fee.
Dunno about the local-vancouver stuff. Try emailing Wade.
