local ABS/PLA filament

Hey guys,

I've been lurking around for a bit now and i think it's time to introduce myself and get to know the community a little. Im a design student, being a design student I have alot of experience working with 3D printers/ laser cutters/ CNC machines with the schools machines. I also have quite alot of experience with solidworks that will be able to help design/improve future parts, so with that I had mind of owning my own 3d printer, so i got myself a TZ laser cut mendel kit. The kit is finally finished with everything working so now its time to do some calibration. In hind sight i should have bought some filaments when i ordered the kit from TZ. I was wondering if anyone has a small amount of filament they are willing to part with for me to be able to calibrate the machine, or know any local supplier for them.

Should note; Wade of wadestruder fame is in Vancouver, as are a ton of reprappers at the VCL (vancouver community labs), and some makerbot folks at the Vancouver Hackerspace.
