Pronterface Border Problem
April 11, 2012 06:12PM
Hi all,
I just got my printer running this last week and have been getting amazing results! But I have found one problem I can't seem to get around in Pronterface. I was attempted to print a tray of prusa parts but had a problem around the border of the print. As you can see in the screen shot, the tray overlaps what pronterface thinks is my printers border. In reality, the red dot on the image is the center of my print bed so there's lots of space around the tray, but because pronterface thinks the tray doesn't fit on the bed, it prints only the parts that are within the software limits. Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks!

PS. Does this forum recognise picasa web albums? I couldn't get it to display.

Did you ever get an answer or figure this out? It looks to me like you need to tell your slicer that the center of your print bed is at 100,100 and not what looks like about 65,65. If the red dot truly is where your center is, then you may need to break this tray into components and print them individually, or justb print the tray twice and discard the truncated pieces.
