I'm not sure what is causing this but after the extruder lays down a layer, it moves to the starting point to start laying down the next layer...however it doesn't seem like the head lifts up because it runs through the layer with its head and leaves a trough line in it, on its way to the starting position. It's like the head lift doesn't happen until it reaches the starting point.
I'm still trying to determine when the head lifts, immediately after its finished with a layer or when it reaches the next starting point.
