Netfabb [www.netfabb.com] look interesting and free, it can
slice and repair stl files, should be usefull to reprepers.

Sorry, forgot to mention its widows software, been having a play with
it and it really seems capable, one usefull feature is the ability
to load slc, sli, slice files to view them.

the support structures are what interests me the most, and the hole fixing.
