I kinda figured that out on Saturday. Wasted a whole day on it. I switched back to 0.8.1 for now... Although you got a whole lot farther. Mine crashes on loading a STL file with a capability related error.
Mine seems to run the mug fine. I don't have my extruder at the right temp so I'm not getting adhesion between layers and such (that's a different problem) but the host doesn't crash on the mini-mug.
