Are there any RepRappers from Bendigo in here?

Hi,

I'm planning to build my first RepRap! Is there any other RepRaps in my town (Bendigo) or central Victoria?

I would like to source the printed parts (non-vitamins) to my Prusa Mendel build as locally as possible. The idea of having a baby of a nearby printer gives me a warm fuzzy feeling

Anyway, mainly wanted to introduce myself and say hi.

Hi Corin, welcome to the group.

I'm in Melbourne myself but I pass through Bendigo and back a few times a year on my way up north. My Mendel's not calibrated properly at the moment and I'm in the middle of a printrbot build so I won't be doing full prints for another month or two but if you get stuck and need an emergency piece printed up then gimme a holler.

I'll probably end up ordering a set online... But I think I'll source my electronics first and get my old soldering iron out

Thanks for the offer Auzze, but I had already ordered my electronics... I got a full DIY kit from reprapworld.com including the Arduino and stepper drivers. (Also keen to get the soldering iron out

I'm in Maldon, but as you can see not too active in the RUG. My Mendel is still a work in progress, but nearly there!
I'm printing with a ToM at the moment.

I'm printing some parts for a bloke at the moment (see my main post), and may be able to help out a bit down the track.
