Hi all, apologies if this has been discussed before but a quick search couldn't turn it up.

Can anyone recommend a source of borosilicate glass for a 400x400mm custom bed that will post? I'm striking out here in Tas. Also for those who've tried, do you think 3mm glass will stay flat suspended only from the corners?

I've avoided borosilicate glass as the heat treatment tends to reduce the flatness. I've gone for 5mm float glass from the local glazier. My 310x310 with ground bevelled edges was $15 each. Float glass is always flat and I've not had any problems with it. The temperatures that we run the bed at are so far away from the production temperature of the glass, that heat is not a problem. I have heard of more borosilicate glass shattering from thermal shock than float glass.
