Question about stepper drivers v1.1...
March 27, 2008 01:23AM
Hi All,

All done building my McWire, and now I'm almost done hooking up the electronics, but I've run into one thing I can't figure on my own:

For the 3-Pin wires going from the opto-endstops to the stepper driver boards (to Min and Max) - I can't find any documentation or clue or anything that tells me which side is power and which is ground (closer to the edge vs. toward the center of the board -- I got that the middle pin is the signal).

Multimeter obviously doesn't help, and the code I wrote to try to figure it out doesn't seem to be working either.

Thanks in advance for any help!
Cheers-
balm

sorry guys.

Pin closest to board edge is +5v, middle is signal, farthest is GND.

I updated the wiki as well.
