Azteeg X1 3DP Controller - SL SMD Remix - Need Testers

Hi All,

I just finished populating the 2nd Proto boards of the Azteeg 644 3DP Controller. Its a SMD version of the popular Sanguinololu with added features that might be useful to some.

Features:

-Atmega 644P TQFP micro controller
-Switching Power supply with 500ma/+5V output and up to 30V input
-Low RDSon TO-220 Mosfets with Heatsinks
-Spike Suppression diodes on Mosfet outputs(16v TVS right now but can be replaced if using a high voltage power source)
-Dedicated SDRAMPS / uSDcarrier socket
-Optional High voltage input for Stepper motors
-Power select for Power supply or USB(convenient for testing and troubleshooting)(Fused USB power)
-LEDs for TX/RX, Hbed, Hend, Power
-Same connectors as SL with extra connector for dual Z steppers
-ATC fuse, 5 AMPs for HotEnd only 15 to 20Amps with Heated bed
-Same size as SL.
-USB communications via FDTI chip(mini B USB connector)

Pins assignments are the same as the Sanguinololu.

Ive tested it using an an almost finished prusa using a test firmware (similar to the RAMPS test code) and works AOK so far. I would need help testing them in different setups before I build some more. If you are interested I have 2 more boards coming up in a few days, please email me at rca507 at yahoo . com (USA only sorry). As much as possible I would like someone who has good knowledge of Sanguino/Sanguinololu/RAMPS, electronics and 3D software/firmware in general, and who can beat the heck out of this thing (not literally). I will install the bootloader but will try to see if I can also send a programmer for you to play with the bootloader/fuses. I can only pick 2 for now so please no hard feelings k? Like on my website would be nice too.

Hopefully I can also populate 2 uSDcarrier boards to throw in the package.

Thanks in advance and comments are very welcome.

Roy

###################UPDATE ###########################

- Added low power Mosfet controlled[PWM] output for Fan, LEDs or whatever you can think of thats 12V @ 500ma

How much knowledge do I need?

I built a Prusa from parts I bought on EBay, and bought a Sanguinololu as well and it all works.

Plus my name is also Roy, that has to be worth a point or two, no?

I'd volunteer if you don't get a couple of experts.

That board looks nice.

Thanks for the great feedback from those who volunteered to test this board!

Made some minor changes. (see original post update)

Now all I need to tackle is creating a wiki page for it.
