Hi

I hope this is the right place for a message like this...

I have been trying to configure my printer's heating, and I just can't make the readings make sense. My thermistors came with the extruders and they are "100K NTC thermistors". In repetier firmware the same thermistors are super easy to configure right - Sensor type 1. None of the Marlin's listed thermistors work right with mine, apparently, since what ever I set up in the firmware, the readings are abowe 200°C and the ambient temperature in my hide out is appr 15°C. The funny thing is that when I yank the thermistor off of the controllerboard (I have tried 2 different ones, 3Drag/K8200 and Mega+Ramps1.4) the readings only change by 2 degrees.

What's wrong?

Are you sure they are not type 11?

I have tried settings for types 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13,71,60, 57, 52, and 55. repetier sees them right, setting 1 gives the real temp.

OK, then check that the temperature tables are correct in your Marlin directory and/or reclone the Marlin GitHub repository to be sure that you don't have any corrupt source files, then recompile and retest.
