Not sure if anyone can help here but I just got the MKS SBASE 1.3 board off amazon. (Amazon Link)

When I plug it in the lights all light up (attached picture) D7 is brighter then the LEDs on the left all flash in sync (red arrows). I can not get the board to show up in windows. I am tempted to just return it but would like to get my printer back up and running.

Have you tried to seek info from MKS's GitHub ?
You might want to also go to thread of MKS SBASE 32 bits smoothie compatible from China

If this board behaves similar to my RADDS then the flashing is due to sd-card sync issues. It flashes a few times and even the steppers seem to move a bit, but once the sd-card is sync'd it works. ( 5-10 flashes after a cold boot )

There was an FW update for my RADDS that helped a lot against this issue, but I'm not sure what smoothieware can do for you.

.ok have you install the ftdi drivers as windows won't see it at all
