Hi,

I was wondering if there's a way to check if your bootloader has been installed? I'm having troubles with installing the firmware and want to backtrack to confirm whether the usbasp correctly installed the bootloader.

Upload a firmware doing something visible. If that works, you can assume uploading the bootloader works as well.

And yes, if you have a programmer, you can upload the entire firmware with that, too. Bootloaders are for those _without_ programming device.
